Frontline Prayer: Sara and Jani, Albania

Sara and Jani (pictured above) sent us this prayer request. Here is more of their story.

“We are Cru staff ministering to university students in Albania-most who have never heard the Gospel! If we want to reach our country for Christ, we need to reach our future leaders. We use Josh McDowell Ministry messages every day for both evangelism and discipleship because they speak truth into our culture in such a clear and powerful way.

In our culture, you cannot just tell people God loves you and sent his son to die for you. People reply, ‘God has a son? How is that possible?’ They have never heard the Gospel and have so many questions! Josh McDowell Ministry equips us to provide clear answers.

This past March, we had an outreach. Two girls came for fun and fellowship and had started asking questions about Christ Sara gave the girls More Than a Carpenter. They read the book together and met us for coffee to discuss it After they had finished it, they told us, ‘This book answered every question we had about Jesus.’ We asked if they were ready to make a decision and they said YES! They are now engaged in discipleship and steadily growing in their faith!”
