I’ll never forget our first outreach. Police were everywhere, but we trusted God and handed out books—even to the police!
I approached a man and gave him a More Than a Carpenter book, sharing how it had changed my life and how it could change his too. He broke down in tears. ‘I’m a carpenter myself,’ he said, ‘and for you to give me this book, I feel touched by God.’”
