I came from a family that attended church, but faith was not a big part of our lives.<\/p>\n<p>A friend from school invited me to the Newsboys concert, downtown, at the Cincinnati Coliseum.\u00a0 I didn\u2019t know Josh was going to preach at intermission.\u00a0 I don\u2019t think I knew who the Newsboys were either.\u00a0 I went because I was invited.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t remember many details.\u00a0 That night was a blur, and it has remained blurry to this day. But I remember hearing a message that broke me. I walked down the aisle and look back on that night as the beginning of my faith.<\/p>\n<p>Two decades later, I\u2019ve been married 11 years, have 4 kids (2 adopted), lead worship at church, and am active in my community.<\/p>\n<h4>Please pass thanks on to Josh for sharing the gospel that night.\u00a0 It dramatically altered the course of my life.<\/h4>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On October 7, 1995, I was 14 years old, a freshman in high school.
